Loren Barrie is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and graduate of John Jay College of Criminal Justice, holding Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice as well as a Master’s Degree in Forensic Mental Health Counseling and Addiction. Loren has experience working with adults, young adults, and adolescents across a variety of clinical settings.
Loren believes each person has a unique journey. Her clinical style supports clients in learning about their inner strengths, developing strategies to pursue their goals, and navigating the process of creating lasting change.
Loren practices from strengths-based, trauma-informed, and person-centered approaches, integrating cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychoeducation, and solution-focused therapy. She tailors her work to each individual’s strengths, experiences, and needs.
